Educational Kitchen Garden
Our garden has been designed with hands on learning in mind. We have everything signed and an easy to follow garden manual. We even have some recipe ideas for you,and please feel free to add yours.
The Wormery turns our organic waste, like kitchen scraps, into rich fertiliser for our veg garden.
Wanaka Willows Wildlife
We look out for our local wildlife, and encourage native species to make a home here too.
To convert the energy of the sun into electricity and hot water helps us to live in a more environmentally friendly way, and lower our carbon footprint.
Our new home Biogas System transforms food waste and manure into into burnable methane gas in our own backyard.
Composting is a simple way to add nutrient-rich soil back into our garden that fuels plant growth and restores vitality to used soil.
At Wanaka Willows we work hard and play hard. We fuel our bodies on our homegrown organic produce and have plenty of energy to enjoy the slack line, climbing tree, trampoline and trapeze!
