What do we do here?
We grow food. We aim to get our organic certification soon and all of our fresh, delicious, healthy fruit and vegetables come spray-free, straight out of our no-dig garden.
We share what we grow. Whether you're one of our loyal weekly veg box customers, a punter at the Wanaka Local Produce market or a friend coming round for a curry, we want you to enjoy the superior quality of the food from our garden.
Everything is done by hand, keeping our fossil fuel usage to a minimum. A climate emergency has been declared and we are making a local effort to solve the global problem, doing our best to set an example for others to follow.
We look after our land. We want to keep our patch of paradise here for future generations to enjoy, leaving it even better than how we found it. We take care of all of the birds, bees and trees that find sanctuary here. We let the blackbirds nest in our sheds and the ducks swim in our pond, especially when they have fluffy little ducklings following them around!
We share our knowledge. We love to teach all that we've learned on our journey to grow vegetables without all the chemical nasties of mainstream agriculture, and we're always learning from those that spend time with us here. We believe that the more people that have the knowledge to grow their own food, the better.

We have a huge selection of vegetables on offer over this period such as tomatoes, zucchinis, crystal apple cucumbers, frigatelli peppers, beans, pea tendrils, purslane (superfood), broccoli, potatoes, kumara, chillis, cabbages, onions and spring onions, salads, baby corn, artichokes, rhubarb, carrots, eggplants, kale and silverbeet. We also include 2 herbs of your choice from a wide variety such as lemon verbena, lemon balm, lemongrass, rosemary, thyme, coriander, oregano and spicy oregano, tarragon, Vietnamese coriander, sage and purple sage, camomile, mint, basil (also baby and Thai basil) and parsley.
There is no less activity here in during the cold season as we are stocked up on vegetables for our winter boxes; including Jerusalem artichokes, radishes, spinach, kale, silverbeet, beetroot, rocket salad and array of other salads, carrots, pumpkin, butternut squash, leeks, baby celery, celeriac, pea tendrils, brussell sprouts, purple sprouting broccoli, physalis, garlic, onions as well as number of herbs such as coriander, parsley, rosemary and thyme.
